Mr. Lifrieri is currently the President of Protective Countermeasures Inc., a security firm located in New Rochelle New York specializing in threat mitigation, investigation and training.
He is often sourced by both the local and national news media for commentary on security and terrorism related stories; is a published author and frequent lecturer.
Mr. Lifrieri is also the past President of the Empire Chapter of IALEIA, the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts. IALEIA is the largest professional organization in the world representing law enforcement analysts.
MR. LIFRIERI'S ASSIGMENTS AS THE DIRECTOR OF SECURITY AND INTELLEGENCE OPERATIONS INCLUDED:
Crisis and Contingency Planning for the city and some of its larger corporate residents;
Risk Assessment and Crisis/Consequence Planning for the city's key buildings and critical infrastructure;
Coordination of Intelligence and Anti-terrorism Operations with city, state, federal and international agencies/countries;
Security Design and build out of New York City's Emergency Operations Center.

As a member of New York City's prestigious Municipal Security Section he headed the Protective Operations Unit, responsible for threat assessments and investigations, technical countermeasures and major site advance planning for various elected NYC officials.

While assigned to the New York Police Department's Intelligence Division, he was specially assigned to create the Department's Russian Organized Crime Project which conducted major case investigations at both the local and Federal level.
Service as a Member of the NYPD.
Over the 20 years of service, he has received numerous decorations and awards including the prestigious rank of "Detective First Grade." Most notably, and his proudest achievement, was being selected as a member of the elite Hostage Negotiations Team, where he was certified not only as a negotiator, but as a emergency psychological technician for the department.
